Mrs. Buxhovi Ahmetaj graduated in Business Management in Prishtina and received a Master’s degree in Leadership from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She commenced her professional career in business management in London and started her banking career in 2005 at Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo.
In 2008, she joined BKT Kosovo, where she served in various senior management positions, including Head of Branch Network and Head of Liability Management and Corporate Communication. In 2019, she assumed the role of Retail Banking Group Head.
Mrs. Buxhovi Ahmetaj joined the Board of Directors of BKT Kosovo in April 2026.
