Pristina, March 21, 2024 – On World Down Syndrome Day, BKT Kosovo reaffirms its commitment to promoting inclusivity and advocating for the rights and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome in Kosovo. This support underscores the Bank’s dedication to creating a more inclusive society where every individual is valued and supported.
As part of this support, the bank will cover the costs for therapeutic services for 12 months for two children diagnosed with Down syndrome. This initiative aims to provide essential support and care to individuals with Down syndrome, helping them achieve their full potential.
World Down Syndrome Day, observed annually on March 21, serves as an opportunity to raise awareness, promote understanding, and protect the rights of individuals with Down syndrome worldwide. Therefore, today at BKT Kosovo, we call on everyone to engage as much as possible to foster positive changes for a more inclusive community.
On this occasion, Mr. Suat Bakkal, CEO and Board Member of BKT Kosovo, said: “At BKT Kosovo, we stand in solidarity with individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our support for the Down Syndrome Kosovo Association reflects our unwavering commitment to social causes.
