Banka Kombëtare Tregtare operates in Kosovo since 2007, as a subsidiary of the Banka Kombëtare Tregtare Albania. In its 11 years of operation in Kosovo, the Bank has seen significant growth in all financial indicators by expanding its market share. As a result of the continuous growth and its significant impact on the banking market, on April 30, 2018, the Banka Kombëtare Tregtare Branch in Kosovo changed its status from the Branch of the Foreign Bank to the Joint Stock Company Bank. With the change of status, the Bank has also changed its name from the Banka Kombëtare Tregtare Branch of Kosovo to the Banka Kombëtare Tregtare Kosovo JSC.
